How we review
Crypto Slot Scout compares casinos on verifiable facts, not marketing claims. This page is the full, honest account of how we research, verify and update every entry — written so you can check our process the same way we check our claims.
Where our data comes from
- Primary-source licence/regulator registers — we check an operator's licence status directly with the issuing authority, not the operator's own marketing page.
- Each operator's own published terms, for the facts we list as details (fees, limits, features) — never a third-party aggregator's summary.
- Independent test/audit evidence where it exists (audits, certifications shown as a badge on each entry).
- Direct queries to an operator only to confirm a fact already found in a primary source — never as the sole source for a claim.
How we verify before publishing
- Every factual claim is checked against a primary document before publishing — never taken second-hand from another comparison site.
- A figure we can't verify is published as unknown (left blank), never estimated or assumed.
- Badges/licences carry the status
verifiedorpending— pending means we haven't independently confirmed it yet. - Reelix runs every claim through an adversarial fact-check that deliberately tries to disprove it before publishing.
Update cadence
Content is checked on a regular schedule and whenever a change is reported to us. This page was last reviewed on . If something changes between reviews — a licence lapses, a term changes — we update the entry and log it in the corrections log where the change corrects a previously published claim.
What we do NOT do
- No pay-for-ranking. A partner cannot buy a better placement, a higher rating or an unearned badge. Partner status is disclosed separately (see our affiliate disclosure) and never factors into how entries are ordered or rated.
- No fabricated hands-on experience. We do not claim to have used a product or service ourselves unless that's true and disclosed. Where hands-on experience matters and we don't have it, we say so instead of inventing it.
- No fabricated ratings or figures. A rating, price or detail we haven't confirmed stays blank — never estimated to look complete.
Corrections
Mistakes happen. When one of our claims is wrong, we correct it and log the correction publicly — what was wrong, what's right now, and why — in the corrections log. Found something that needs correcting? Email hello@cryptoslotscout.com.
